Cool Art Mom: Nature or Nurture?

Okay, I admit it...I want to be the cool art mom. So, I had this idea that I would ask the internet world, how one goes about being the "Cool" Art Mom on the block. I had a few ideas, and here is what I came up with:

1. Have a room devoted to a kid studio.
2. Kid studio must contain snacks.
3. Keep some art supplies off limits until another day...thus creating a sense of wonderment and privilege to use the "special" supplies later.
4. See number 2 above. Come on people, SNACKS...ARE...VITAL!

Yes, those gummy bears and I am certain they have high-fructose corn syrup in them. Also, I know the last two letters aren't made of gummy bears, but I got hungry and thus I ran out. Don't get yourself in a tizzy about the unhealthy snacks-look at the that juicy pear and that applesauce. It isn't all junk food. Plus, I don't ever remember the "cool" house in the neighborhood serving up  ONLY  organic home made snacks. Let's be real here, people.

More importantly, is the word "cool" even cool anymore? What do you think?

How do you become the cool art parent?
Is there a certain way to dress?
Or sadly, is it in one's DNA {darn you Nature}?
Is it really about the snacks? Give me a shout out.
